Question by Whesley: How much is a hdtv and do you have to buy a certain type of cable to get it high definition?
I’m going to buy a high definition t.v so I can play God of war 3 in HD and I want the high definition channels to and I didn’t know if you pay extra money to get the high definition channels and also I was wondering how much the t.v would be.

You don’t tell us where you live.

But OTA HD channels are free
Satellite and cable HD channels you pay extra
For TV prices go to the web or open your local newspaper.
For HD, Connect your gaming device to the TV via component or HDMI cables.
(Note, Wii does not output in HD)

  • That all would depend on your service provider (ie: cable satellite) just call them and ask about their packages and prices.

U will need HDMI cables to get the absolute best sound and picture possible (it’s worth it)
if u buy an HDTV that’s higher end with 120hz or 240hz stay away from the cheaper HDMI
cables because they are slow and you will end up buying the higher end faster cables.

An HDTV can run anywhere from $200 all the way up to $6000?
Can’t give exact figure because you didn’t mention a size…
